Windows Down, Spring Is Here
Ah, springtime. Seasonal allergies aside, it’s a wonderful season. I was feeling a little confined in the city so I want out and bought a new car for the occasion. I’ve been carless since before Christmas and even though I really tried to go a little longer without one, (who actually enjoys making a car payment?) being able to take trips to the beach was a lot more important.
Something I don’t think I’ll ever grow out of is driving with the windows down and blasting my favorite driving music. Sometimes it’s soft, sensitive ballads that crescendo into dramatic anthems to sing along to, other times it’s just generally upbeat music that’s fun to listen to. This playlist is made of the latter.
Even if you don’t have a car, these songs are good for a musical pick-me-up. Cleaning the house? Open the windows and let your neighbors know how happy you are about the weather. Going for a run or a leisurely stroll? Let ‘em rip. There’s never a bad occasion to listen to some feel-good tunes.
